When a spell is countered, is it possible to counter the Counterspell action, or can only real spells (and not counter actions) be countered? For example
Mage A casts Cone of Cold. Mage B has readied a counterspell action and counters it. If Mage A had reactive counterspell, could he attempt to counter the counter action so that his original spell would go off? Could a theoretical Mage C then counter that action?
