Anyone have any data on Duergar in the various Spheres when it comes to 'jamming?
They seem a proper fit, as yet another rebelling ex-Illithid slave race...but I'm curious where they fit as far as Spelljamming. Thanks! Draco |

Little late to be jumping in, I know, but . . .
Well, for 'Spider-Moon' I've so far been treating illithids as obsessive, ethically-challenged bio-engineers, all for the sake of getting the maximum amount of cool out of my books: Chokers (MM1) are an illithid-bred goblin-variant (much like the project that created half-orcs), Half-Illithid Lizardfolk (Fiend Folio) are fresh-out of the cerebremorphosis-caul, naked mind-flayers & I have assumed since the beginning that the TRUE shape of a mind-flayer is probably more like the half-illithid Beholder (FR: Underdark), probably native to a dark gas-giant orbiting a far-flung brown dwarf star, so I think that duergar (& derro) have a respectable, believable place as some type of failed Illithid experiment in making "managable" dwarves. For non 'Spider-Moon' . . . I'm at a loss. Sorry. |
